Dubai, UAE — July 12, 2017 — Valtek Sulamericana has been awarded the contract for the design, engineering, manufacturing and testing of control valves by EPC contractor DESCON Engineering for their South East Tie-in Project (Package B) that Descon is executing on behalf of their client Abu Dubai Company for Onshore Petroleum Operations (ADCO).

The project involves the supply of control valves for use in over 60 tie in wells at Qusahwira, Shah and Mender and Gathering Centres.

Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Petroleum Operation (ADCO) is the largest oil producer in the UAE with over 1.8 million barrels of oil produced daily. Valtek Sulamericana MENA’s UAE factory is a prequalified and approved manufacturer for control valves for ADCO.

Valtek Sulamericana MENA welcomed Abu Dhabi Company for Petroleum Operations (ADCO) and Descon Engineering Teams for the Final Acceptance Test (FAT) at Valtek Sulamericana MENA’s state of the art facility in the UAE.
